In Omaha, glass is collected for recycling only at recycling drop-off sites. Glass is not collected from Omaha's green recycling bins.

We must all work to be sure that only glass bottles and jars from food and beverages are collected for recycling. If other types of glass are included, it will cause problems in the recycling process. Those problems cause recyclable material to be landfilled, so please be careful what you place in the drop-off containers and keep this as a reference.
